Although we vaguely knew each other through mutual friends and families here in Lodi, we officially met in 2020 on a popular dating site called Hinge! Sophie had her best friend Joseph (our officiant) craft the first text that was sent to Andrew. After dates of coffee, pho, and Italian food, we both knew that what we had was special.

Our connection grew from there, and Andrew asked Sophie to be his girlfriend on March 14, 2021.

Our first solo vacation together was to Puerto Rico. We spent a week exploring rainforests, relaxing on beaches, viewing historic architecture, and making great memories. Both of us realized during this trip that there would be many more vacations and travels to come.

In the Fall of 2023, we officially moved in together. Soon after, we adopted two kitties, Mick and Margot!

Andrew planned to propose to Sophie while skiing at Bear Valley last year, in April of 2025. Sophie, however, couldn't find her ski pass the day that Andrew was planning to do it! Instead, we got engaged on the deck of our friend's cabin later that afternoon.

Creating this life together has been a blast. We are very excited for the future!
